 The U.S. government has announced new reciprocal tariffs under IEEPA that will take effect this April.

  • Effective April 5, 2025: A 10% reciprocal tariff will apply to goods originating from countries not listed in Annex I.
  • Effective April 9, 2025: Goods from countries listed in the Annex will be subject to increased tariff rates exceeding 10%. Specific country rates can be found in the Annex.

Important Exemptions:

 Some commodities will not be subject to these reciprocal tariffs, including:

  • Steel and aluminum goods already under Section 232 tariffs
  • Automotive and automotive parts under Section 232

Please note these new tariffs will stack with any previously enacted tariffs.
